My name is Dr. P. Kiran Kumar. I completed my PhD in Environmental science and Technology. My research work focuses on wastewater treatment using chemical and biological technologies. My work treatment of wastewater using chemical and biological technologies and also in the Research study of treatment of landfill leachate and wastewater treatment at an industrial site on a pilot scale mode. I have expertise both at the lab scale and pilot scale, in the cultivation of different microalgae species using different wastewater, harvesting of biomass, extraction and recovery of biofuel and other value-added products using solvent methods and hydrothermal technology, Gasification and Pyrolysis. Also during my Ph.D. I cultivated microalgae at an industrial site on pilot scale mode with R.O. rejected wastewater. I have worked in the various DST govt of India-sponsored R&D projects at JNTU University of Institute of Science and Technology, Hyderabad, India. Also, I received the Research Ratna award in the field of energy environment and I published 14 international SCI journals
